Fishing
is the most popular pastime for the summer guests at the Kabetogama/Voyageurs Nat'l Park area There
are 5 major lakes in the park, each with 1000's of acres
of clean, cool water. These lakes host rugged
shorelines with many calm bays,
occasional sand beaches, rocky points and many islands.
THERE ARE NO MOTOR RESTRICTIONS for boaters who can travel
along the remote 50 mile long system of lakes.
Anglers fishing Voyageurs Nat'l Park will find walleye,
northern pike, smallmouth bass,
sturgeon & crappie. Or try one
of the parks interior lakes for lake trout, northern
pike, crappie largemouth bass & muskie.
At Pokorny's,
we rent boats
& motors, stock minnows, night crawlers & leeches &
a assortment of tackle. Gasoline is available at
the docks. Fillet service is also available.

MN STATE REGULATIONS FOR KABETOGAMA
& NAMAKAN LAKES, SULLIVAN BAY,
ASH RIVER TO ASH RIVER FALLS:
All walleye less than 17"- 28"
must be immediately
returned to the water. 1 over 28" is allowed in
possession. Possession limit 4.
